En algunos lugares del mundo se acaba el curso escolar y por fin llegan las vacaciones con un montón de horas para reír, jugar y, cómo no, seguir aprendiendo de la forma más divertida. Por este motivo os traemos una selección de las mejores aplicaciones para tablets y smartphones con las qué podréis llenar esos momentos:

 1. Khan Academy: Esta aplicación nos permite acceder a los más de 4.000 videos educativos sobre diferentes temas (mates, química, historia…) El lugar perfecto para repasar aquel contenido que no les ha quedado claro a tus hijos/as, consultar aquella duda que quedo pendiente de resolver y encontrar la solución a ese problema que se les resiste.  Disponible para iOS y Android

2. DotToDot numbers & letters: Sencilla y divertida aplicación para los más peques de la casa con la que podrán practicar las series de números o letras. La aplicación se puede personalizar (dificultad, nivel, música, efectos…) para adaptarla a las necesidades de los pequeños jugadores. Los más atrevidos pueden enfrentarse al reloj y tratar de completar la serie antes de que se acabe el tiempo. Disponible para iOS.

3. El restaurante del Dr. Panda: Con el Dr. Panda aprenderemos un montón de cosas sobrelos alimentos, el reciclaje y los animales mientras cocinamos divertidos platos. El entorno no aporta muchas pistas de manera que el descubrimiento y el ensayo-error es un factor importante en esta aplicación. Disponible también una versión de pago con nuevas recetas, para iOS y Android.

4. Tangram: El tangram es un juego clásico originario de China qué consiste en crear figuras y formas utilizando las 7 piezas geométricas disponibles. Con este sencillo pero entretenido juego se fomenta la observación, la concentración y la capacidad espacial. ¡Seguro qué no podréis hacer solo una partida! Disponible para Android.

5. Moster Band: Board Games: Esta App nos ofrece tres modalidades de juego: Memoria, Puzles y Concurso. En cada uno de ellos se fomentan diferentes tareas cognitivas como laobservación, identificación de colores y formas, concentración y lógica. Todo ello en un entorno lleno de colorido. La aplicación permite registrarnos como usuarios con lo que podremos añadir nuestra foto y guardar los puntos que vayamos obteniendo. Disponible para iOS.

6. Agnitus: Agnitus es una sencilla pero entretenida aplicación destinada especialmente para niños y niñas en edad preescolar. Perfecta para reconocer colores, formas en 2D, reconocimiento de letras, contar e incluso empezar con el trazo de las letras. Requiere registro del niño y permite hacer un seguimiento de sus logros. Disponible para iOS.

7. Mindomo: Esta aplicación está destinada a los más mayores y su función principal es la decrear esquemas y mapas mentales. Una útil herramienta para repasar conceptos, crear esquemas y reforzar los conocimientos aprendidos durante el año. Si tus hijos necesitan hacer algún repaso, no dejes de presentarles esta interesante aplicación. Disponible para iOS y Android.

8. La selva de Mario y Julia, Pato y el Espía: La Fundación Mapfre nos presenta dos fantásticos cuentos con los que podemos fomentar la seguridad vial con los más pequeños. Se trata de “La selva de Mario” destinado para peques de 3 a 5 años y “Julia, Pato y el Espía” para peques de 6 a 8 años. Ambos cuentos son interactivos, por lo que no te limites sólo a leer en voz alta sino que los pequeños podrán ayudar a los protagonistas de las historias mientras aprenden sobre seguridad vial. 9. Pepi Bath: Que estemos de vacaciones no significa que podamos descuidar los hábitos de higiene. Está aplicación os podrá ayudar con los pequeños de la casa a no perder el ritmo de cosas tan cotidianas como lavarse los dientes, las manos, la ropa… Una buena manera dereforzar los hábitos de higiene de manera divertida. 10. Busuu: Y acabamos nuestra selección con la aplicación de la conocida red social Busuu, que permite aprender diferentes idiomas con los mejores profesores: hablantes nativos de dicho idioma. Además de disponer de cursos y ejercicios interactivos, tú mismo te puedes convertir en profesor de tu lengua registrándote en esta comunidad.
